Contemporary Labels

Styles Silver of Hungerford commissioned a number of exciting modern labels from leading contemporary silversmith.. These labels are shown on their website at www.styles-silver.co.uk/acatalog/WineLabels.html and we thoroughly recommend viewing of the labels on their website or on a visit to Hungerford in Berkshire; and we applaud their initiative both in supporting contemporary silversmiths and bringing fresh visions to wine labels.

News From Auction Houses

Woolley & Wallis & Lawrences of Crewkerne had a few labels in their silver sales in January but after that we are not aware of much on the horizon, However, looking ahead, Dukes of Dorchester will sell a collection of some 300 wine and sauce labels, a major sale - but that is not until 21/22 June.
